Een vaatwasser is een fijne uitvinding waar met de hand afwassen vaak niet tegenop kan. Wanneer je een vaatwasser gaat uitkiezen is het goed om te kijken naar de plaats waar deze komt te staan. Is de ruimte waar de vaatwasser moet komen hoog, breed en diep genoeg en zijn de aansluitpunten op maximaal 1,5 meter afstand aanwezig en goed toegankelijk. De meeste vaatwassers zijn 60cm breed, 60cm diep en 85cm hoog. We hebben ook een smaller model in ons assortiment dat 45cm breed is.
Een vaatwasser heeft dezelfde aansluitpunten nodig als een wasmachine (kraan, afvoer en geaard stopcontact). Het aantal couverts kan per model verschillen. Gemiddeld zijn dit 12 tot 15 couverts. Het energie en waterverbruik kan ook een beweegreden zijn om voor een bepaald model te kiezen. Er zijn ook machines waarbij de bovenkorf in hoogte verstelbaar is zodat je bijvoorbeeld voor grotere borden ruimte kunt maken. Kijk hiervoor bij de specificaties van het apparaat.
